The L.I. Mutual Assistance Group; (L.I.M.A.G.) is part of the N.Y.S., Un-Organized Constitutional Group Coalition.
We are a COMMUNITY ORIENTED GROUP, that will protect and help, our families, and community, during storms/natural disasters, terrorism or other Foreign/Domestic attacks, AND support/defend the Constitution, and Bill of Rights.
L.I.M.A.G. does NOT assign rank to it's members, nor does it have an Officer/Enlisted corps.
A Co-operative Response to Emergencies, Attacks, and Disasters (C.R.E.A.D.)
The mission of Long Island Mutual Assistance Group is to ensure members are prepared, and able to stand as a team in times of strife. It is the duty of L.I.M.A.G. members to assist each other in organizing, supplying and training. In the event of an emergency, the Long Island Mutual Assistance Group can mobilize efficiently, and effectively to assist their families, communities, and neighbors. Execute the laws of the Union, suppress insurrections, and repel invasions. (As stated in Article 1; section 8, clauses 15 and 16 of the U.S. Constitution).
Should local Emergency Service Personnel, become either overwhelmed, over taken, or unavailable to assist/protect the public, The Long Island Mutual Assistance Group can respond if requested, in order to help our fellow neighbors, community, or Essential Services Personnel.
This response could be in the form of Community Outreach, Emergency Preparedness, Emergency Medical Aid, Search/Rescue, Communications, or Security of private property, or Public areas.
Q). SO WHO ARE WE?
A). We are your families, neighbors and friends. We are made up of people who you trust in your community. Our members are everything from Military, Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS professionals, to Nurses, and School Teachers, to Electricians, to Plumbers, to Welders, to hobbyists, and retirees.
Q). WHAT ARE WE?
A). We are a group made up of like-minded, service minded citizens. We are affiliated with, the NYS Coalition of Unorganized Constitutional groups, and . We are a team, that can respond to strife/catastrophe when needed or requested, specifically when essential services are overwhelmed, by no fault of their own.
Q).What we are NOT!
A). We are not an “organized Militia” in NYS. In NYS, the only organized Militia consists of the National Guard. We are not incorporated. We do not provide salary or compensation to our members. We are not a 501c3, nor any form of non profit entity. We do not fundraise for our group, and cannot accept any form of monetary donations.
Q). HOW ARE WE STRUCTURED?
We are structured as a civil defense organization with origins in security and preparedness for the community. Although we have a leadership/training/ team that consists of 4 logistical areas of Long Island, we do not assign rank to membership. The group is co-operative, meaning all members have a voice, and work together, as a team!
The 3 main areas of co-operation, consist of:
“Operations”
“Logistics”
“Communications”
Depending on your physical ability, interest, or areas of expertise, will depend on where you fall into those categories.
